Phoenix Legacy Complete Rules and Overview

A clear 2-step evaluation with a static risk model

What is Phoenix Legacy?

Phoenix Legacy is a two-step evaluation designed for traders who want a structured path to funding with fixed, easy to follow risk limits in challenge.

In the challenge phases, this product uses Static Maximum Loss, a fixed stop-out limit that does not move as your equity changes. Once you reach the funded phase, your account switches to the Dynamic Risk Shield™, a trailing drawdown that moves with your equity.

Who is Phoenix Legacy for?

A structured 2-step progression. Phase 1, then Phase 2. Simple milestones, no guessing.

Static Maximum Loss in challenge. Your drawdown limit is fixed from the start. It does not move with your equity.

Dynamic Risk Shield™ in funded. Your max loss becomes trailing once you reach the funded phase.

No time pressure. Unlimited time, no countdown, no minimum trading days.

Phase 1

Profit Target: 3% Reach a 3% profit on your account balance. All positions must be closed.

Daily Drawdown: 5% Maximum loss allowed within a single trading day (00:00 to 23:59 UTC).

Example: On a $100,000 account, your maximum daily loss is $5,000.

Static Drawdown: 10% A fixed maximum loss limit calculated from your starting balance. It does not trail, and it does not move up with profits.

Example: On a $100,000 account, your static drawdown limit is $10,000. If your equity or balance drops below $90,000, the account is considered breached.

Phase 2

Profit Target: 2% Reach a 2% profit on your account balance. All positions must be closed.

Requirements Same rules as Phase 1:

  • Daily Drawdown: 5%

  • Static Drawdown: 10%

Funded Phase

Daily Drawdown: 5% Maximum daily loss within a 24-hour period.

Dynamic Risk Shield™: 5% In the funded phase, your max loss becomes Dynamic. It moves UP with your profits.

How it works:

  • Starts at 5% below your initial balance

  • Moves UP as you make profits

  • Never moves down

  • Locks at initial balance once reached

BREACH

This is calculated on equity, not balance. Open trades count.

Minimum Trading Days: 5 You need at least 5 valid trading days before you can request a payout. A trading day only counts as valid if it meets the Daily March threshold below.

Daily March: 0.5% A day is only counted toward your minimum trading days if the account achieves at least +0.5% realized profit for that day. Days where you trade but don't reach the 0.5% threshold do not count toward the 5-day requirement.

Example: On a $100,000 funded account, a trading day only counts if the realized profit from closed trades is at least $500.

Payout Requirement: 1% Before requesting your first or any subsequent payout, you must generate at least 1% profit calculated from your initial balance.

$500

$100,000

$1,000

$200,000

$2,000

$500,000

$5,000

How it works:

  • Trade at your own pace

  • Applies to each payout separately

  • Resets after each successful withdrawal

  • Only closed trades count

Max Single Trade Loss: 2% In the funded phase, you must not lose more than 2% of your initial funded balance in a single trade.

Violating this rule is a hard breach and leads to account termination.

Example: On a $100,000 funded account, the maximum loss allowed on any single trade is $2,000.

Best Day Rule: 20% To be eligible for a payout, no single trading day can represent more than 20% of your total profits.

Important: This is a SOFT rule. It does NOT breach your account. It only delays your payout until your profit distribution becomes more balanced.

Trying to bypass it by splitting a large winning position (hedging, partial closes, etc.) is not allowed. The profit may be treated as if it was closed on a single day.

Profit Split: Up to 99% You keep up to 99% of profits generated in your funded account.
