Obsidian Challenge Complete Rules & Overview

Updated this week

The World's First 4-Phase Challenge

We invented this. When we launched Obsidian in 2025, no other prop firm had a 4-phase challenge. We were first.

Why 4 phases? More phases = smaller targets per phase. The smallest individual targets in our lineup.

Let that sink in:

πŸ”₯ $101 for a $100,000 account (85% OFF – limited time) with code BOGO85

πŸ”₯ Smallest targets per phase – just 2%, 2%, 3%, 3%. Micro-targets.

πŸ”₯ Only 10% total target – same as Astral, spread across 4 phases

πŸ”₯ 6% Static Maximum Loss in Challenge – fixed limit that never moves

πŸ”₯ 1:100 leverage – trade with real power

πŸ”₯ 99% profit split – keep almost everything you earn

πŸ”₯ No time limit – zero pressure, trade at your own pace

πŸ”₯ Funding up to $1,000,000 – scale to seven figur

Who Is Obsidian For?

Obsidian is built for traders who want two things: an affordable entry and the smallest possible targets per phase.

🎯 You want a low-cost entry – $101 for a $100K account. That's $30 less than Astral, $80 less than Phoenix. A budget-friendly path to funding.

🎯 You like micro-targets – 2%, 2%, 3%, 3%. No phase asks for more than 3%. The smallest individual targets we offer.

🎯 You want the same total as Astral – 10% total, but split into 4 easier pieces instead of 3.

🎯 You want zero time pressure – No deadline. Take a week, take a month, take a year.

🎯 You prefer Static DD in evaluation – 6% fixed limit in challenge phases.

This is for patient traders who want micro-milestones. Four small wins. Four confidence builders. Four steps to funding.

Why 4 Phases?

More phases = smaller targets. Obsidian has the smallest individual phase targets in our lineup.

β€’ Dynamic Risk Shieldβ„’: 4% (trailing)

β€’ Max Trade Risk: 3%

β€’ Best Day Rule: 20% (soft rule)

β€’ Profit Split: 99%

Best Day Rule: 20%

No single trading day can represent more than 20% of your total withdrawal amount.

Important: This is a SOFT rule. It does NOT breach your account. It only delays your payout until your profit distribution is more balanced.

Example: You want to withdraw $10,000 β†’ Your best trading day must be $2,000 or less.

Note: Trying to bypass the Best Day Rule by intentionally splitting a large winning position (hedging or closing parts separately) is not allowed. The entire profit from that trade may be counted as if it was closed on a single day.

How a Trading Day Counts

A trading day is counted only if all of the following conditions are met:

Requirement

Condition

Minimum Closed Profit

More than 1% of the initial account balance

Minimum activity

At least one closed trade

Calculation basis

Only closed trades count (realized P/L)

Open trades

Do not count toward the trading day

Time zone

UTC (00:00 to 23:59)

Trades crossing midnight

Count for the day they are closed

Activation of the Funded Account

After passing all four phases, complete these steps:

1. Challenge completion (all 4 phases)

2. KYC identity verification (2–4 minutes)

3. Signing the Trader Agreement (instant)

4. Risk compliance review (24–48 hours)

Note: KYC and Trader Agreement are completed only once.
