Who Is Phoenix For?

Phoenix is designed for traders who prefer Static Maximum Loss, a fixed boundary that doesn't move with your equity.

With Static Maximum Loss:

  • Your stop-out level is fixed at 10% below starting balance (6% in Funded)

  • Making profits does NOT move your stop-out level

  • You have consistent room to manage risk your own way

  • Perfect for swing traders and those holding positions longer

Some traders manage risk through position sizing and prefer a fixed boundary. If that's you, Phoenix is your challenge.

Phase 1

Profit Target: 3%

Reach a 3% profit on your account balance. All positions must be closed to count toward the target.

Example: On a $100,000 account, you need to make $3,000 profit.

Minimum Trading Days: 3 days

You must complete 3 trading days before passing the phase, even if you hit the profit target earlier.

Time Limit: Unlimited

Take as long as you need. No countdown, no pressure.

Daily Drawdown: 4%

Maximum loss allowed within a single trading day (00:00 to 23:59 UTC).

Example: On a $100,000 account, your maximum daily loss is $4,000.

Static Maximum Loss: 10%

Your account has a fixed maximum loss limit of 10% from your starting balance. This limit never moves, regardless of how much profit you make.

How it works:

  • Your stop-out level is set at 10% below your initial balance

  • This level remains fixed for the entire phase

  • Making profits does NOT raise your stop-out level

  • You have consistent room to trade through normal drawdowns

Example on a $100,000 account:

BREACH

Key point: The stop-out level stays at $90,000 even when equity rises. This gives you freedom to trade through drawdowns without constantly worrying about a moving target.

Phase 2

Profit Target: 5%

Reach a 5% profit on your account balance. All positions must be closed.

Example: On a $100,000 account, you need to make $5,000 profit.

Minimum Trading Days: 3 days

Same as Phase 1. You must complete 3 trading days.

Daily Drawdown: 4%

Same as Phase 1.

Static Maximum Loss: 10%

Same as Phase 1.

How Trading Days Count (Challenge Only)

A trading day is counted only if all of the following conditions are met:

Requirement

Condition

Minimum Closed Profit

More than 1% of the initial account balance

Minimum Activity

At least one closed trade

Calculation Basis

Only closed trades count (realized P/L)

Open Trades

Do not count toward the trading day

Time Zone

UTC (00:00 to 23:59)

Trades Crossing Midnight

Count for the day they are closed

Important: Even if you reach the profit target before completing the required minimum trading days, you must continue trading until all minimum trading days have been fulfilled.

Example: If you reach the 3% profit target in Phase 1 on Day 1, you still need to complete at least 2 more trading days to successfully finish the phase.

Your phase is not considered complete until both conditions are met:

  • Profit Target is reached

  • Minimum Trading Days fulfilled (3 days per phase)

Funded Phase

Once you pass both phases, the following rules apply:

Daily Drawdown: 3%

Tighter than the challenge phase to ensure disciplined trading with our capital.

Example: On a $100,000 funded account, your maximum daily loss is $3,000.

Static Maximum Loss: 6%

In the funded phase, your static maximum loss is tighter at 6% to protect our capital.

How it works:

  • Stop-out level is fixed at 6% below your initial funded balance

  • This level never moves, regardless of profits

  • Provides consistent risk management

Example: On a $100,000 funded account, your stop-out level is $94,000.

Max Single Trade loss: 3%

No single trade may exceed 3% loss of your initial funded balance.

Account Size

Max Risk Per Trade

$100,000

$3,000

$200,000

$6,000

$500,000

$15,000

Note: Splitting trades into multiple positions on the same instrument in the same direction counts as one trade.

Violating this rule is a HARD BREACH and will lead to account termination.

Payout Requirement: 1%

Before requesting your first or any subsequent payout, you must generate at least 1% profit calculated from your initial balance.

Account Size

Min Profit Before Payout

$25,000

$250

$50,000

$500

$100,000

$1,000

$200,000

$2,000

$500,000

$5,000

How it works:

  • No minimum trading days in funded phase

  • Trade at your own pace

  • Applies to each payout separately

  • Resets after each successful withdrawal

  • Only closed trades count

Best Day Rule: 20%

No single trading day can represent more than 20% of your total withdrawal amount.

Important: This is a SOFT rule. It does NOT breach your account. It only delays your payout until your profit distribution is more balanced.

Example: You want to withdraw $10,000. Your best trading day must be $2,000 or less.

Note: Trying to bypass the Best Day Rule by intentionally splitting a large winning position (hedging or closing parts separately) is not allowed.

Profit Split: 99%

You keep 99% of all profits generated in your funded account.

Funded Breach Conditions

Your account will be terminated if:

  • Equity drops below Static Maximum Loss (6%)

  • Daily loss exceeds 3%

  • Single trade loss exceeds 3%

  • Prohibited trading strategy detected
