Why are some symbols currently limited to closing only?

As part of ongoing improvements to our platform, a small number of less commonly traded symbols are currently limited to closing positions only. For most traders nothing changes at all, but we want you to know exactly what this means.

Which symbols are affected?

Only a small group of minor, less frequently traded symbols. All major instruments remain fully available and trade exactly as before. If you trade the main markets, you won't notice any difference.

What does "close only" mean for me?

On the affected symbols you can still close and manage any position you already have open, just as you normally would. The only change is that opening a new position on those specific symbols isn't available right now.

Are my open positions and my balance safe?

Yes. Your account, your balance, and your open positions are completely unaffected. Everything is exactly where it should be, and you stay in full control of any trade you already have open.

How do I know if a symbol is affected?

If you try to open a position and the symbol is one of the affected ones, your platform will show that it's not currently available for new orders. If it opens as normal, it isn't affected. All the major symbols are trading as usual.

Will my trading be interrupted?

No. The main markets remain fully available throughout, so your everyday trading continues without interruption. The change touches only a small set of minor symbols, and only for opening new positions on them.

I have an open position on an affected symbol. What should I do?

Nothing urgent is needed. You can continue to manage and close that position whenever you choose, exactly as normal. If you'd like help with anything specific, our team is here for you.
