Your payout name must match your bank account

Before requesting a payout, make sure the name on your Upcomers account matches the name on your bank account. Mismatched details can delay or prevent your payout.

In short

The name on your Upcomers account must match the name on the bank account that receives your payout. If the names do not match, your payout can be delayed or returned, and in some cases we may be unable to send it.

Why your name has to match

When we process a payout, the funds are sent to the bank account you provide. Banks compare the name of the account holder with the name on the incoming transfer. If the two do not match, the bank can delay, return, or reject the payment, even when everything on our side is correct.

To make sure your money actually reaches you, the name on your Upcomers account and your payout details must be your real, legal name, exactly as it appears at your bank.

What you need to do

  • Enter your real, legal full name, exactly as it appears on your bank account.

  • Use the same name across your identity verification (KYC), your Upcomers account, and your payout details.

  • Double-check the spelling, the order of your names, and any middle names before you submit a withdrawal.

  • If you receive payouts to a business or company account, the account must match that entity's verified details.

If the names do not match

If the name on your payout details does not match your bank account, we reserve the right to:

  • Hold the payout until your details are corrected and verified

  • Decline to send a payout to details that do not match your verified name

  • Decline to resend a payout that was returned because the names did not match

Please make sure your details are correct before requesting a withdrawal. This is in line with our Terms and Conditions.
