The short answer
A Futures payout is available only when the funded account meets its program’s profit, qualifying-day and consistency requirements, all positions are closed, and verification and other payout conditions are complete. The minimum request is $50. The payout cap and your account’s profit split also apply.
Requirements by program
Program | Profit requirement per payout segment | Qualifying days | Best Day Rule |
Thunderbolt Classic | 1% | 3 days, each ≥0.5% of initial balance | 35% |
Vanguard | 6% | None | 20% |
Horizon | 3% | 5 days, each ≥0.5% of initial balance | None |
Thunderbolt Classic accounts purchased before October 29, 2026 retain a 20% Best Day limit and no minimum funded trading days. Existing accounts follow their assigned terms.
Profit requirements are measured in the current payout segment against its starting balance. The first segment begins when funded trading starts; later segments begin after a payout. Qualifying days use the stated percentage of initial account balance.
Before you request
Account status: stay within all account rules and close every position. Cancel working orders before submitting so another trade cannot open during the request.
One-time requirements: complete KYC and sign the Trader Agreement.
Minimum and cap: the account-profit request must be at least $50 and within its applicable cap. The account’s profit split is then applied. Delivery from your payout balance is a separate step with a $45 minimum and method-specific fees. Use the amounts shown in the dashboard.
Profit split
Thunderbolt Classic and Vanguard offer 80%, 90% (default) or 100% at checkout; the selected option affects the purchase price. Horizon has a fixed 80% split. Existing accounts retain the split assigned to them. The split is separate from the cap and payout-method fees.
Worked example: Thunderbolt Classic
On a $100K funded account, the initial 1% requirement is $1,000 and a qualifying day needs $500. Suppose three days earn $600, $500 and $500: total profit is $1,600 and all three days qualify. The best day is 37.5%, so the 35% Best Day condition is not met yet. Meeting the profit target and day count alone is insufficient.
Timing and caps
These Futures programs allow requests once their conditions are met; there is no fixed weekly or fortnightly request cycle. Approval and delivery are separate steps.
Caps do not disappear after the last listed tier. Thunderbolt Classic and Horizon use the payout 4+ tier thereafter; the listed current Vanguard sizes use the payout 5+ tier thereafter. See Futures payout structure for amounts.
Where to go next
Use How to request a payout for the dashboard steps and fees, or Best Day Rule for the consistency calculation. Vanguard first-payout eligibility explains the instant-funded program.
