Upcomers 2.0 Is Here: Futures, an AI Coach, and a Platform Rebuilt Around You

Futures on indices and commodities. A sixth platform. An AI coach that reads your account and tells you the truth. This is not a redesign. It is a bigger product.

Upcomers launched in 2024 with a simple idea: give traders a fair way to prove their skill, and pay them properly when they do. Since then more than 80,000 traders across 170+ countries have taken that route, and over $7 million has gone back to them in payouts.

Today Upcomers 2.0 arrives. It is the biggest update we have made, and it changes what you can trade, where you can trade it, and how well you understand your own trading while you do.

Futures: indices and commodities, on a platform of their own

The headline of 2.0 is futures.

From today you can trade simulated contracts on major indices and commodities, priced using live CME market data. What you learn here carries over.

If futures are new to you, here is what actually changes.

You size in contracts, not lots. A futures position is a standardized unit, defined by the exchange, identical for everyone trading it. One contract is one contract.

Your session rhythm changes. Index and commodity futures move around scheduled events and exchange hours, which rewards traders who plan around the calendar instead of staring at a chart all day.

And your instrument list gets deeper, not just longer. Indices and commodities behave differently from currency pairs. Traders who found FX too noisy often find their edge here.

Futures are traded exclusively on DXtrade, a platform we added specifically for this.

Six platforms. Five you know, one that's new.

With DXtrade, Upcomers now runs six trading platforms. And nothing about your existing accounts changes: if you trade on one of the five you already know, keep going exactly as you are. DXtrade is an addition, not a migration.

Five of them cover CFDs, forex and crypto: MT5, TradeLocker, Bybit, Match-Trader and cTrader. Whatever you trade and however you like to trade it, one of those five already fits you.

DXtrade is the sixth, and it is there for index and commodity futures. The order ticket, the contract specs, the position handling: all of it works the way a futures trader expects. Nothing else runs on it.

Futures run on their own rule set, not the CFD one. Drawdowns, max trade loss, the Best Day Rule: all of it is written specifically for futures. Every rule is in the Futures Trading Rules collection.

Automate your strategy

Upcomers allows automated and algorithmic trading. Expert Advisors, trade managers, risk tools, and your own systematic strategies are welcome, as long as they are genuinely yours and follow the rules. What automation each platform supports varies, so check the rules for the platform you trade on before you build.

And before you commit to anything, you can see exactly what you would be trading. We keep a public read-only MT5 account that anyone can log into, with no signup and no payment, to check live spreads, every instrument, swap rates and leverage for themselves. Most firms ask you to pay first and check later. We think that is backwards.

The AI coach

Most traders already know what went wrong. What they cannot see is the pattern underneath it, and almost nobody has someone qualified to look.

Open the coach, pick a window of 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, and it reads your account across it, then hands back a structured review: what you are doing well, and what needs work. Two clear lists, plus the lens it reviewed you through and one concrete action to take into your next session. No wall of text.

It reads deeper than a profit and loss line. It looks at your entries, your stops, your swaps and your commissions, and it flags when your costs, rather than your call, are what moved the result. If a trade closed green because of a swap credit, that is worth knowing before you write it down as a win.

Then there is Ask Coach, which is where it stops being a report and starts being useful. It is a conversation, and it answers from your own records. Ask what time of day you are most successful. Ask it to show your best trades from the past week. Ask it to turn your review into a checklist for tomorrow, and you get one: trade only planned setups, define invalidation before entry, tag every trade, check your execution against your best trade. Every conversation is saved, so you can pick up where you left off.

And here is the part that matters most, which is not really a feature at all.

The coach will not flatter you. Give it one good trade and it will tell you that one trade proves nothing about your consistency or your edge. Give it a month without a payout and it will call the record a process snapshot rather than a track record. When the data is thin, it lowers its own confidence instead of turning three green candles into a story about your talent.

That is deliberate. A coach that tells you what you want to hear is entertainment. A coach that tells you what your numbers actually support is the one worth having.

A dashboard that answers the question you actually have

The dashboard has been rebuilt from the ground up.

Every trader opens their dashboard asking a version of the same question: where do I stand right now, and how much room do I have? The old one made you work for that answer. The new one gives it to you: your accounts, your performance, and your limits in plain numbers, at a glance, without hunting.

The exact parameters for your program are always there and always current. The mechanics behind them are explained step by step elsewhere in this Help Center.

A leaderboard, and a website that keeps up

The new leaderboard ranks the top traders of the last completed month, and it rolls over when the month does. Two boards: Top Earners by the size of the payout, Top Performers by percentage gain. Each entry shows the trader, the product they traded, and where they are from.

The payouts are the part worth pausing on. Not declared returns, not screenshots. Money that left our account and reached a trader, with a name next to it. If you want to know whether a firm like ours actually pays, that is the shortest answer available.

The website itself is faster and easier to move through, with a new visual identity. The challenge picker is where you feel it: choose CFDs or futures, then filter by evaluation or instant funding, by platform, and by account size from $2K to $1M.

Ready to trade the new Upcomers?

Everything in 2.0 is live right now. Futures on DXtrade, the AI coach, the rebuilt dashboard, the leaderboard. Not a roadmap, not a waitlist. Log in and it is there.

Every challenge on the platform runs at 90% off with the code BOGO90. On evaluation challenges, that comes with a free second account of the same size once you pass and reach your first payout, so a single purchase can become two funded accounts running side by side.

Choose your challenge and trade the new Upcomers today.

One more thing, for creators. If you have an audience instead of, or alongside, a trading account, the Upcomers affiliate program starts at 50% commission on a referral's first order through an affiliate code, with network bonuses three levels deep and a share of your traders' payouts once they get funded. It is the most generous affiliate program in prop trading.
