1-step Horizon Challenge (Perpetuals) Complete Rules & Overview

Our 1-Step perpetuals evaluation with no consistency rule. One target, then funded.

Horizon on Perpetuals is our 1-phase challenge with no consistency rule, in the challenge or on the funded account. One evaluation, one target. Hit 9% and you are funded. Account sizes from $5,000 to $1,500,000. The rules are identical to Horizon on CFD; only the market and platform differ.

Available Account Sizes

$5,000 · $10,000 · $25,000 · $50,000 · $100,000 · $200,000 · $300,000 · $400,000 · $500,000 · $600,000 · $700,000 · $800,000 · $900,000 · $1,000,000 · $1,250,000 · $1,500,000

Challenge Phase Rules

Profit Target: 9%

Reach 9% profit on your account balance. All positions must be closed before the challenge is considered complete.

Daily Drawdown: 3%

Maximum loss allowed within a single trading day. Perpetuals markets never close, so the day boundary is 00:00 UTC. At that moment the system records your starting equity or balance, whichever is higher, and your daily limit sits 3% below it. On a $100,000 account, your maximum daily loss is $3,000. A hard breach.

Dynamic Risk Shield™: 6%

A trailing drawdown that tracks your account's highest equity point (High Water Mark). The limit is always 6% below this peak. As your equity grows, the shield rises with it and never moves back down. The maximum shield level equals your initial balance, where it locks permanently. A hard breach.

Max Single Trade Loss: none in the challenge

There is no per-trade loss cap during the challenge. It applies only once you are funded.

Minimum Trading Days: 2

A day counts as a trading day only when it reaches at least 0.5% profit, calculated from the initial balance and measured on the 00:00 UTC boundary. On a $100,000 account, that is $500.

Consistency: none

There is no consistency rule and no Best Day Rule in the challenge.

How to Pass the Challenge

Reach at least 9% net profit over at least 2 trading days. Stay above the 3% Daily Drawdown and the 6% Dynamic Risk Shield™ at all times. Close all positions before completion. Once you meet all conditions, you are eligible for a funded account.

Funded Phase

Profit Split: up to 100%

Daily Drawdown: 3%

Reset at 00:00 UTC. On a $100,000 funded account, your maximum daily loss is $3,000.

Dynamic Risk Shield™: 6%

The same 6% trailing shield carries over from the challenge and locks at your initial balance.

Max Single Trade Loss: 3%

Your loss on any single trade cannot exceed 3% of the initial account balance. On a $100,000 account, that is $3,000 per trade. Positions on the same instrument in the same direction count as one trade. A hard breach.

Minimum Trading Days:

· 3 trading days on accounts up to $50,000

· 4 trading days above $50,000 up to $200,000

· 5 trading days above $200,000

A day counts only when it reaches at least 0.5% profit from the initial balance.

No Consistency Rule

There is no Best Day Rule and no consistency requirement on this account. How your profit is spread across days does not affect your payout.

Payout Requirement: 3%

Before requesting a payout, you must generate at least 3% profit calculated from your initial balance. On a $100,000 account, that is $3,000. The 3% requirement applies between payouts as well.

Payout Frequency: every 14 days (bi-weekly)

You can request your first payout 14 days after your funded account starts, and every 14 days after that.

Perpetuals Specifics

Markets never close. The daily drawdown and the trading-day count run on the 00:00 UTC boundary. Positions held across it are not closed or reset; only the daily limit is recalculated. See Markets never close: trading 24/7.

Funding and fees count. Funding payments and trading fees move your balance and equity, so they count toward your daily drawdown, your Dynamic Risk Shield™, your profit target and your payout exactly like a trade result. See Funding rates, explained and Fees and how your order fills.

Simulated accounts, real payouts. You trade a simulated balance against live Hyperliquid prices. The payout is real money. See What are Upcomers Perpetuals?.

Inactivity. The standard 35-day inactivity period applies. Close at least one trade within each 35-day window.

Common Questions

Are the rules different from Horizon on CFD?

No. Horizon on Perpetuals and Horizon on CFD have the same rules. The only differences come from the market: the day boundary is 00:00 UTC on a market that never closes, and funding payments count toward your results.

What's the profit target?

9% in the challenge. No target in the funded phase.

Is there a consistency rule?

No. Horizon has no consistency rule and no Best Day Rule, in the challenge or on the funded account.

When can I withdraw?

Every 14 days, once you have generated at least 3% profit from your initial balance and met the minimum trading days.

What breaches my account?

Exceeding the 3% Daily Drawdown, falling below the 6% Dynamic Risk Shield™, or, on the funded account, exceeding the 3% Max Single Trade Loss. These are hard breaches and end the account.

What's my profit split?

Up to 100%, depending on the option selected at checkout.
