The Short Answer
Horizon Futures is a one-step futures evaluation with no consistency rule. Hit a 6% profit target while staying inside a 4% End-of-Day trailing drawdown and a 3% daily drawdown (2% once funded), and you get a funded account. There is no Best Day Rule; instead, your first payout becomes available 14 days after your funded account starts. Everything runs on Upcomers X. The rules match Thunderbolt Classic Futures, except for the consistency and first-payout terms.

Challenge phase
Profit target: 6%. On a $50,000 account that is $3,000. On a $100,000 account it is $6,000.
Trailing drawdown: 4%, End-of-Day. Your account must stay above a floor set 4% below your highest end-of-day closing balance. On a $100,000 account the floor starts at $96,000 and moves up once per day, at the 5:00 PM ET rollover, as your closing balance makes new highs.
Daily drawdown: 3%. You cannot lose more than 3% measured from the higher of your equity or balance at the 5:00 PM ET reset. On a $50,000 account that is $1,500.
Max trade loss: none in the challenge. The 1.5% per-trade cap applies only once you are funded.
Consistency: none. There is no Best Day Rule or consistency requirement in the challenge.
Funded phase
Trailing drawdown: 4%, End-of-Day. Recalculated once per day at the 5:00 PM ET rollover. On a $100,000 account it starts at $96,000 and locks permanently at your $100,000 starting balance once a day closes at about $104,167 or more.
Daily drawdown: 2%, reset 5:00 PM ET. On a $50,000 account that is $1,000.
Max trade loss: 1.5%. No single open trade may lose more than 1.5% of your account size ($750 on $50,000, $1,500 on $100,000). Positions on the same instrument in the same direction count as one trade. A hard breach.
No consistency rule. There is no Best Day Rule on Horizon Futures. How your profit is spread across days does not affect your payout.
First payout after 14 days. Your first payout can be requested 14 days after your funded account starts.
How the trailing drawdown works
The trailing drawdown is our Dynamic Risk Shield™, an End-of-Day (EOD) floor. It is recalculated only once per trading day, at the 5:00 PM ET rollover, from the highest closing balance of any completed trading day, counting closed profit and loss only. Unrealized profit on open trades never moves it. During the day the floor is fixed, but your live equity, including open positions, is checked against it at every moment. An intraday spike in open profit does not drag the floor up, but a big intraday loss can still breach the account. Once a close puts the floor at your starting balance, it locks there permanently.
Watch your buffer after a payout. A withdrawal lowers your balance but not the floor, so it eats directly into your cushion.
The daily drawdown and the 5:00 PM ET reset
Futures reset at 5:00 PM ET, the CME trading-day boundary, not at midnight UTC. Your daily limit is measured from the higher of your equity or balance at that snapshot. If your equity falls below the limit at any point, all open positions close at market and the account ends. At 5:00 PM ET a fresh trading day begins.

Common questions
How is Horizon Futures different from Thunderbolt Classic Futures?
Two things: Horizon has no 20% Best Day Rule, and your first payout opens 14 days after funding. All other rules are the same.
Is there a max trade loss in the challenge?
No. The 1.5% max trade loss applies only on the funded account.
What breaches my account?
In the challenge: falling to the 4% trailing floor or breaking the 3% daily drawdown. Once funded: falling to the trailing floor, breaking the 2% daily drawdown, or losing more than 1.5% of account size on a single trade. These are hard breaches: open positions close at market and the account ends.
Can I hold overnight and over the weekend?
Yes, in both phases. Size for the Sunday 6:00 PM ET reopen gap.
